Origin Story: Zabba and the Frog

The Zabba Stamp was inspired by the frogs in the Amazon Rainforest. In fact, Zabba means “frog” in Czech. But it’s more than a logo design, it’s a symbol of the work we do at Zabba and the quality of the brands we own. Both the Amazon Jungle and the online marketplace are wild and wonderful places with so much to explore. But with adventure and opportunity often comes risk.

There are 427 species of frogs in the Amazon Rainforest. Most species are harmless and adorable, but some are deadly poisonous. Unless you’re an expert, it’s tough to know when you’re safe.

When shopping online it’s not easy to determine if you’re buying from a reputable business. With thousands of dollars per day at stake, competition is fierce among online retailers. Most sellers are legit, but a few bad actors are muddying the waters with tactics like fake reviews, bait-and-switches (selling customers branded items, but delivering knock-offs), and even destroying competing seller accounts. They’re counting on you not having the time to do your research on every brand.

We don’t believe customers should have to do the heavy lifting when it comes to a product’s reputation, and that’s where The Zabba Stamp comes in. When you see the frog handprint logo on our products like Angry Orange Pet Odor Eliminator or Brush Hero Car Washing Kit you can trust you’re always getting premium products at the best price.
